The History Lesson

Bad Company formed in London in 1973 by singer Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke (both ex-Free), guitarist Mick Ralphs (ex-Mott the Hoople) and bassist Boz Burrell (ex-King Crimson). Kirke was the only member to remain throughout the band’s entire run, while he and Ralphs were the only members to appear on every studio album. Peter Grant, who managed Led Zeppelin, also managed Bad Company until 1982.

Bad Company enjoyed great success throughout the 1970s. Their first three albums,��Bad Company��(1974),��Straight Shooter��(1975) and��Run with the Pack��(1976), reached the top five in the album charts in both the UK and the US. Many of their singles and songs, such as “Bad Company,” “Can’t Get Enough,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Shooting Star,” “Burnin’ Sky,” and “Rock n Roll Fantasy” remain staples of classic rock radio. They have sold 20 million RIAA-certified albums in the US and 40 million worldwide. Though they initially disbanded in 1982, Bad Company reunited on many occasions to record and tour until 2019. In 2023, Kirke revealed that they would not continue as a band following the development of Rodgers’ recent health issues. In 2025, Bad Company was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Enter Bad Co. Legacy

For seven years Robert Hart was the lead singer of Bad Company in its classic rock era. He has also played many years with The Jones Gang (alongside Kenny Jones of The Faces) and with Manfred Mann’s Earth Band. Dave ‘Bucket’ Colwell spent 12 years playing guitar in Bad Company, as well as with Humble Pie, the Jones Gang, ASAP, and others.��

During 1992, Hart was approached by Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirke and asked if he would like to join them as the third lead vocalist for Bad Company, following Paul Rodgers and Brian Howe. In 1995 a self-produced Bad Company album was released,��Company of Strangers,��with four tracks self-penned or co-written by Hart, followed by a tour in support of Bon Jovi.��Stories Told and Untold��was released in 1996, featuring Hart and containing seven new compositions and acoustic versions of “Can’t Get Enough” and “Ready for Love.” Hart was also lead vocalist on three live albums between 1994 and 2001.

In 1990 Dave “Bucket” Colwell joined Bad Company as guitarist at the request of Mick Ralphs. Their subsequent tour, supported by Damn Yankees, was one of the top five grossing tours of 1991. As well as touring for over a decade, Colwell recorded heavily with the band. He then went on to record��Merchants of Cool��with Paul Rodgers in 2002.��

Hart and Colwell are joined onstage by Chris Childs (ex-Thunder and Tyketto), John Lingwood (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band) and Roger Chapman.��

Fans can expect many of the classic songs spanning Bad Company’s repertoire. It promises to be a night to remember!

The important thing is that you really love the piece that you will be sharing.

This exhibition explores the wide-ranging significance, symbolism, and sacrality of mountains and water in China, Korea, and Japan. It considers landscapes and scholar’s stones as both scholastic objects of aesthetic consideration and supernatural sites of cosmic power.

Experience a vibrant world where ancestral African traditions meet breathtaking cori'temporary circus. Through powerful storytelling, live music, dance, and extraordinary acrobatics, Cirque Kalabante explores how gesture, rhythm, and movement can transcend language, erase boundaries, and unite cultures.

Imagine a stage where ancestral African wisdom captivates the audience. Separated by a symbolic line, one group shares its knowledge through powerful storytelling, hypnotic songs, and ritual initiation, while the other listens and learns—sometimes with fear, sometimes with resistance.

The exchange begins with spoken language as an obstacle, but the universal forces of gesture, rhythm, and sound quickly overcome it. The set and its ropes become a language of their own: double Dutch skipping, bungee straps, and rope-based contortion become pathways of communication, pulsing with dialogue. Three guiding figures—Trust, Respect, and Wisdom—lead the journey.��

Through acrobatic contact and moments of mutual support, the dividing line fades. Bodies merge, blending tradition with contemporary movement. The finale culminates in a powerful choreography of unity and collective awakening, transforming the journey itself into a revelation.��

The Doo Wop Project will get everyone into the holiday spirit with old-school classics such as The Drifters' "White Christmas," The Temptations' "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons' version of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," along with contemporary favorites such as "This Christmas" and "Last Christmas." It's sure to be a jolly good time!��

The dynamic Broadway stars of The Doo Wop Project are on a mission to put doo-wop music on everyone’s playlist. Backed by their smokin’ hot band, they capture the classic sound of the groups that—back in the day—harmonized on stoops, in subway stations, and on street corners. They have also created a unique, exciting, and fun way to “doo-wopify” today’s biggest hits, reimagining them as though they had been written in another era. Once you experience The Doo Wop Project live on stage, you’ll understand why audiences across the country call them “America’s premier doo-wop group.”

The Silhouettes’ acclaimed show,��Love Happens, is an entertaining, family-friendly shadow-dance story celebrating the many forms of love in our world: friendship, family bonds, affection for children and pets, romantic love, a love of music and life, and even a love of chocolate. The production also explores love’s more painful side, taking audiences on an emotional journey filled with laughter, tears, and goosebumps—and ultimately bringing love to the heart.

Founded in 2009, The Silhouettes are America’s premier shadow-dance company. The group was named first runner-up on Season 6 of��America’s Got Talent��in 2011 and received a Golden Buzzer on��America’s Got Talent: The Champions��in 2020. Created and directed by Lynne Waggoner-Patton, the company trains its performers, films its productions, and stages its live shows at its own theater in Westminster, Colorado.

The Silhouettes have appeared in television commercials and on the��Muscular Dystrophy Show of Strength��and Nickelodeon’s��See Dad Run. They have also performed around the world, including in Ireland, Poland, Mexico, and Canada. The company appeared as a resident act in��America’s Got Talent Presents SUPERSTARS Live��in Las Vegas. Over the years, The Silhouettes have raised millions of dollars for children’s charities. Their mission is to help children achieve their dreams and goals, regardless of their circumstances, and to empower them to make a meaningful impact on the world.��
