Professional Media Studio for Interviews and Video Production

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s professional media studio is a versatile space where faculty, staff and students can create high-quality video content for broadcast, digital, and social media. Upgraded with support from Dr. Roger Mills Gilbert '76, the studio features a state-of-the-art ReadyCam television system with Zoom functionality for live local and national television interviews, as well as professional equipment for recording interviews, research breakdowns, promotional videos, podcasts and other multimedia projects.

Whether you're appearing live on CNN, recording a research spotlight or filming content for University communications, the studio offers broadcast-quality lighting, audio, cameras and customizable backgrounds to help you look and sound your best.

On-camera interviews

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ has upgraded its cutting-edge ReadyCam television studio system, with support from Dr. Roger Mills Gilbert ’76, to include Zoom functionality for both local and national broadcast TV interviews, at a moment's notice. Our studio enables faculty to utilize professional lighting, audio and backdrops for your Zoom interviews.

The Binghamton studio provides remote access to television networks around the globe, from CNN to BBC, NBC, PBS and hundreds of others. Conveniently located on the Binghamton campus, the fully equipped broadcast studio gives experts a new channel for sharing their expertise and commentary with the world — without ever leaving campus.

Radio and podcast interviews 

The media studio is equipped to facilitate high-quality podcast and radio interviews, allowing Binghamton experts to connect with audiences around the world. With broadcast-quality audio equipment and experienced staff, we've helped faculty appear on programs on NPR, BBC Radio and beyond. The studio is also where we record new episode sof The Aha! Moment, Binghamton's official podcast where facutly discuss their groundbreaking research. 

Creative video production

Our media studio is where Binghamton stories come to life. From faculty explaining groundbreaking discoveries to performances by student musicians, to videos celebrating the Binghamton community, the studio helps bring the people and ideas of Binghamton University to audiences on the web, social media and beyond.

Use of the Facility

Staffing and use of the studio is complimentary when news media interview Binghamton University experts. With sufficient notice, the studio is available for guests unaffiliated with the University for a nominal fee. Please inquire.
